Charlotte has been trained in a primarily Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach, although frequently includes elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy, allowing for a holistic and flexible integration of psychological interventions. These elements may include mindfulness, and positive psychology. Charlotte is passionate about the role of the body in dysregulation, and encourages somatic as well as cognitive strategies to improve coping and functioning.
Throughout her training and practice, Charlotte has worked across a range of sectors, including private practice, schools, and hospitals, including a mental health unit.
